Also known as ObC, is a programming language used in the iOS and OSX operating systems and their application programming interfaces (APIs). Objective-C is an object-oriented, general purpose and adds to new language features in the C programming language. Initially developed in the 1980s, Objective-C was used by some of the earliest operating systems.
Soon the language was linked with Smalltalk to further expand the usability of both the languages.
